Introduction

Ultra Doc Scanner ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the application collects, uses, processes, and protects information when you use the Ultra Doc Scanner mobile application.

This app is developed by RSR Fintech. By using Ultra Doc Scanner, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Ultra Doc Scanner does not require account registration and does not intentionally collect personal information from users.

The application may access the following device features:

• Camera — Used only when you choose to scan documents, capture images, automatically detect document edges, perform perspective correction, or scan QR codes.
• Photos and Videos (Gallery / Media Access) — Used only when you choose to import existing images or PDF files for scanning, editing, compression, conversion, sharing, or document management.
• Internet Access — Used for displaying advertisements, checking network availability, and securely accessing cloud processing services when Smart Mode or Online Mode is selected.

2. Document Processing

Ultra Doc Scanner provides three processing modes. You can change the processing mode from the app settings.

Offline Mode

In Offline Mode, supported document scanning, PDF creation, PDF editing, OCR, and related operations are performed entirely on your device. No files are uploaded to our servers.

Smart Mode

In Smart Mode, most processing is performed locally on your device. Certain supported operations, such as large PDF compression, image compression, PDF conversion, or other cloud-assisted document processing, may temporarily upload the selected file to our secure processing server only when necessary.

Online Mode

In Online Mode, supported operations such as PDF compression, image compression, document conversion, and other supported cloud processing features may be securely processed using our cloud processing service.

3. Advertising

Ultra Doc Scanner may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners such as Google AdMob.

These advertising providers may collect certain non-personal information, including:

• Device information
• Advertising Identifier (where available)
• Application usage information
• Approximate location derived from IP address

This information is used for delivering and improving advertisements. For more information, please review Google's Privacy Policy.

Ultra Doc Scanner does not use separate analytics services to track your document contents or personal files.

Ultra Doc Scanner may use on-device machine learning technologies to recognize text from images and documents.

6. Data Storage

Documents created or processed locally by Ultra Doc Scanner remain stored on your device.

You have full control over saving, deleting, moving, sharing, or managing your documents.

When Smart Mode or Online Mode is used, only the files you explicitly select for supported cloud processing operations may be temporarily uploaded to our secure server.

Temporary uploaded files and generated output files are scheduled for automatic deletion and are normally removed within approximately 20 minutes. Files are not permanently retained.

The application may use the following third-party services. These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Ultra Doc Scanner is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance of the updated policy.
